Monday,4 July 2022 (YJC)_ Iran’s lead negotiator said he is in close contact with EU coordinator to decide the time and place of the next round of talks.
After a previous round ended inconclusively in Doha, Qatar, Iran’s lead negotiator Ali Bagheri Kani said he is in close contact with EU coordinator to decide the time and place of the next round of talks.
“We are in contact with Mora to finalize the time and venue of new talks,” he said while adding that “an understanding between us and the opposite side, specifically Mr. Mora is needed.”
“Any demands beyond the scope of conventional international law will be responed negatively,” he said.
He went on to say that “Iran accepts no harm at all to the Iranian nation’s rights,” and added “When they recognize it, they will develop the mentality that any beyond conventional international law demand will receive ‘no’ response.”
Since last April, several rounds of negotiations between Iran and the remaining parties to the nuclear deal had been held.
