“Iran is a victim of weapons of mass destruction,” he said while noting that more than 13,000 people have been martyred and more than 100,000 injured by the Saddam chemical attacks.

“According to a report by the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), the US and more than 15 European countries were involved in equipping Saddam's regime with chemical weapons. Now they should be accountable for this,” he added.

He went on to urge international legal organizations to hold these countries accountable and announced that “complaints have been filed against certain European individuals, but that is not enough.”
