Thursday, 30 June 2022 (YJC)_ Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran said installation of new centrifuges by Iran is under the Strategic Action Plan of the Iranian Parliament.
Referring to installation of new centrifuges in Fordow Facility, Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Mohammad Eslami said this move is under the Strategic Action Plan of the Iranian Parliament.
“This move has been pursued within the Iranian Parliament's Strategic Action Plan to Lift Sanctions and Protect Iranian Nation's Interests, which was approved in late 2020,” he said.
“AEOI will move according to the plans,” he noted.
The IAEA recently released a statement and announced that Iran has declared its plan to install two new cascades of advanced IR-6 centrifuges at the uranium enrichment facility in Natanz, in the Central Iranian Province of Isfahan.
