Monday, 27 June 2022 (YJC)_ Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman announced that talks between his country and the world powers are set to resume in a Persian Gulf state soon.
In a press conference in Tehran on Monday, Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh announced that talks between his country and the world powers are set to resume in a Persian Gulf state soon.
“The date and the place of the negotiations are almost confirmed,” he said while noting that “host of the talks is going to be the one of the countries in the Persian Gulf which will be held in the coming days.”
Khatibzaeh also said “the upcoming talks will be indirect,” and added “that the negotiations will not include the nuclear dimension.”
He also referred to the recent visits of EU Foreign Policy Chief Josep Borrell and said “Borrell told the views of the US to the Iranian side, the US has pledged to be committed to the JCPOA and Resolution 2231, and guaranteed the interests of Iran.”
