Tuesday, 21 June 2022 (YJC)_ The Iranian security forces detained a number of Israeli Mossad agents in Southeastern Iran.
Prosecutor-General of the Southeastern province of Sistan and Balouchestan Mehdi Shamsabadi announced that the Iranian security forces detained a number of Israeli Mossad agents in Southeastern Iran.
“A complicated intelligence operation in eight months of monitoring was done to arrest these spies,” he said.
“The case is under investigation and soon a lawsuit will be filed against them,” he added.
Prior to this, last week the Iranian intelligence forces in the Northwestern province of West Azerbaijan announced they have detained an element linked to the two French spies.
Also, last month, Iran announced detention of two French nationals who practiced espionage operations and sought to foment chaos in the country.
“Two French spies, Cécile Kohler, 37, and Jacqeus Paris, 69, for attempting to stoke chaos and social disorder in Iran during protests by teachers,” it is said at that time.
