Saturday, 18 June 2022 (YJC)_ The Iranian Health Ministry announced that 70 new Covid-19 cases has been detected in the country in the past 24 hrs.
The Iranian Health Ministry announced on Saturday that 70 new COVID-19 infections have been detected across the country in the past 24 hours 32 of which has been hospitalized.
“A sum of 70 COVID-19 infections and 3 deaths has been identified due to the disease in the past 24 hours” the spox said while adding that “This brings the total number of cases 7,234,597.”
“305 people are being treated in ICUs in hospitals across the country, while 7,060,283 have already gained recovery,” the health ministry added.
52,500,860 coronavirus diagnosis tests have so far been carried out across the country,” the ministry added and also warned that no cities are rated red or orange, 106 cities are yellow, and 342 cities are blue.
Since the Iranian administration started a mass vaccination campaign coronavirus figures and deaths have been on a downward trend.
