Thursday, 16 June 2022 (YJC)_ Spokesman of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran blasted Rafael Grossi for making "unprofessional" remarks.
Spokesman of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Behrouz Kamalvandi blasted Rafael Grossi for making "unprofessional" remarks.
“The director-general of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Rafael Grossi should take distance from making unprofessional statements,” he said and noted that “If there is a technical issue, it should be presented professionally within the framework of the Agency's duties.”
He went on to add that “It is never a good thing to start saying to international inspectors, go home. We learned from our past experience. Grossi is expected to distance himself from political statements.”
In a meeting of the IAEA’s Board of Governors an anti-Iran resolution, drafted by Britain, France, Germany, and the US has been approved.
In reaction to that, the Iranian foreign ministry named it as political, unconstructive and wrong and noted “Such steps will have no results than weakening Iran’s cooperation with the agency. A hasty and unbalanced report by the IAEA director general made such a resolution, Iran blasted the resolution drafted by the US, Britain, France, and Germany as a wrong, political and unconstructive move.”
