Thursday, 9 June 2022 (YJC)_ The Iranian Health Ministry announced that 202 new Covid-19 cases has been detected in the country in the past 24 hrs.
The Iranian Health Ministry announced on Thursday that 202 new COVID-19 infections have been detected across the country in the past 24 hours 35 of which has been hospitalized.
“A sum of 202 COVID-19 infections and 3 deaths has been identified due to the disease in the past 24 hours” the spox said while adding that “This brings the total number of cases 7,233,319.”
“409 people are being treated in ICUs in hospitals across the country, while 7,057,938 have already gained recovery,” the health ministry added.
52,408,548 coronavirus diagnosis tests have so far been carried out across the country,” the ministry added and also warned that no cities are rated red or orange, 147 cities are yellow, and 301 cities are blue.
Since the Iranian administration started a mass vaccination campaign coronavirus figures and deaths have been on a downward trend.
