Wednesday, 8 June 2022 (YJC)_ After a passenger train derailed in central Iran, at least 21 people were killed and dozens more injured.
A passenger train derailed in central Iran on Wednesday, at least 21 people were killed and dozens more injured.
This occurred near the city of Tabas in Southern Khorassan province and the rail that connects the town to the Central city of Yazd.
The train carried 430 passengers and crew, and currently further investigation is underway to find out the exact cause of the accident.
Some of the 87 injured have been transferred to local hospitals.
