Wednesday, 8 June 2022 (YJC)_ Iran announced that it has removed two cameras as Grossi started escalating tensions against the country.
The Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) announced on Wednesday that Iran has removed two cameras as Grossi started escalating tensions against the country.
“The UN atomic body has not appreciated Iran's good-will, therefore, we ordered the Online Enrichment Monitor and the flow meter to be taken offline,” the statement said.
It is also noted that “80 percent of the IAEA’s surveillance cameras that are in Iran will remain in place.”
In a meeting of the IAEA’s Board of Governors an anti-Iran resolution, drafted by Britain, France, Germany, and the US has been approved.
This resolution comes following a trip by IAEA Chief Rafael Grossi to the Israeli-occupied territories.
