Saturday, 4 June 2022 (YJC)_ The President of the Association of Tire Scholars in Lebanon expressed his condolences to the Muslim Ummah and the free people of the world on the anniversary of Imam Khomeini's death.
Sheikh Ali Yassin al-Ameli, president of the Association of Tire Scholars in Lebanon, offered his condolences on the anniversary of Imam Khomeini's death.
According to Al-Manar, he said:
We offer our condolences to the Muslim Ummah and all the free people of the world on the anniversary of the death of the great Imam Khomeini, who was able to overthrow the greatest bodyguard and guardian of the interests of global colonialism in the region; The one who overthrew the projects of imperialism, and in the beginning the project of Greater Israel, by supporting the resistance in Lebanon, a resistance that defeated the Zionist regime and, by defeating the terrorist-Takfiri-Zionist forces, thwarted its goals to divide the region.
Sheikh Al-Ameli further wished that Iran, under the command of the Islamic Republic of Iran, would continue its scientific and military development in order to continue to protect the resistance forces in the region and the world.
In an interview with Fars News Agency, Sheikh Maher Hammoud, President of the World Union of Resistance Scholars, pointed out that the late Imam did not only belong to the Iranian nation, but also to the oppressed and free nations.
Imam Khomeini originates from the school of Islam, which does not belong to a specific people, religion or time.
The gathering of Lebanese Muslim scholars also emphasized in a statement on the occasion of the 33rd anniversary of Imam Khomeini's demise:
The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran was able to build an Islamic country that progressed in line with global development and was at the forefront of countries in many fields of technology.
