Monday, 30 May 2022 (YJC)_ Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps said the country will certainly take revenge for the assassination of its officer.
In a meeting with martyr Khodayee's family on Monday, Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Brigadier General Hossein Salami said the country will certainly take revenge for the assassination of its officer.
“IRGC will certainly take revenge for the assassination of Martyr Hassan Sayyad Khodayee,” he noted.
He went on to add that “people’s demand is to take revenge on the foes for the assassination,” while saying that “As they have been killed by the worst people, those martyrs assassinated by the Zionists have a higher status.”
“Khodayee’s martyrdom earned him global fame, he was an unknown IRGC member before his martyrdom,” he finally noted.
Colonel Sayyad Khodayee was assassinated by two motorcyclists who shot him five times before fleeing the scene on Sunday.
In a relevant remark addressing a ceremony in Khorramshahr city in Southwestern Iran, Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Major General Hossein Salami said the country will take harsh revenge for the assassination of IRGC officer.
