Monday, 30 May 2022 (YJC)_ The Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Diplomacy told a conference on cooperation between Iran and the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization that Tehran has become one of the most active and potential centers for economic diplomacy these days.
Mehdi Safari, Deputy Minister of Economic Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran This morning (Monday) at the International Meeting between Iran and the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization (BISC):
"This meeting is a clear expression of Iran's commitment to multilateral economic diplomacy," he said in a speech at the State Department's Office of Political and International Studies.
Safari added: "The partnership between Iran and BISC (Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization) will help to connect more globally, because West and East Asia and Europe, etc. are connected through the Persian Gulf and the Black Sea."
The Deputy Foreign Minister continued:
If BISC can establish a stronger partnership with Iran, Iran has a high position and capacity to access the Persian Gulf, the Indian Ocean, China and Central Asia, and despite sanctions, Iran has a high potential for cooperation with ECO and BISC.
He continued:
The prospect of cooperation between Iran and BISC is one of the most important approaches for development and prosperity. Iranians are very interested in cooperating with this organization.
The Deputy Foreign Minister added:
We in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Department of Economic Diplomacy are determined to take steps to enhance cooperation between Iran and neighboring countries. Tehran These reserves are one of the most active and potential centers for economic diplomacy. The BISC Secretariat can count on Iran's readiness to cooperate.
