Wednesday, 25 May 2022 (YJC)_ Referring to the recent agreement between Tehran and Muscat, Iranian President said the two countries enjoy mutual trust.
Referring to the recent agreement between Tehran and Muscat to boost ties and cooperation in different areas, especially economy and trade, Iranian President Seyed Ebrahim Raiesi said the two countries enjoy mutual trust.
“We think the current level of relations is good but not enough therefore we agreed for closer cooperation, we want to boost the level of the cooperation in the fields of commerce, economy, energy.” he said.
He went on to put emphasis on the fact that “Mutual trust is the greatest asset of Iran and Oman. We think that dialogue is the only solution to all regional issues. The path through this is open in the region.”
Finally, he noted that “Foreign presence in the region ailed to resolve problems and also led to various ones.”
