Hamas spokesman Hazem Qasim said the parties and figures that the United States considers affiliated with and boycotted Hamas have nothing to do with the movement.
According to Sama News Agency, a Hamas spokesman said that the US move was in line with Washington's involvement in the aggression against the Palestinian people, putting pressure on the nation, legitimizing the siege and trying to save the "collapsed image of the occupier" after the assassination of a Palestinian journalist. The US Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control announced on Tuesday that it had placed several individuals and companies on the sanctions list under the pretext of links to Hamas.
