Tuesday, 24 May 2022 (YJC)_ Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps said the country will take harsh revenge for the assassination of IRGC officer.
Addressing a ceremony in Khorramshahr city in Southwestern Iran, Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Major General Hossein Salami said the country will take harsh revenge for the assassination of IRGC officer.
“We will definitely make the enemy regret and have a crushing response, the Iranian nation and the IRGC will avenge the blood of all their loved ones,” he said and noted that “No evil act of the enemy will go unanswered. We will freeze the enemy in his aspirations.”
Also, Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Major General Mohammad Hossein Baqeri said that assassination of IRGC officer shows failure of enemies.
Colonel Sayyad Khodayee was assassinated by two motorcyclists who shot him five times before fleeing the scene on Sunday.
