Tehran, YJC. Iran’s defense minister rapped attempts to isolate Iran on the international arena, saying the moves to spread Iranophobia will lead nowhere.
"The unjust sanctions,
as well as the attempts to isolate Iran, and to spread Islamophobia,
Shiite-phobia and Iranophobia are doomed to fail,” Brigadier General Hossein
Dehqan asserted while speaking in an academic conference in Tehran on Tuesday.
Iran has now "turned
into the mightiest country in the [Middle East] region and is seen among the most
influential countries in the world amid the complicated global equations,” the defense
commander stated.
Pointing to the
nuclear negotiations between Tehran and the P5+1, he said Iran will undoubtedly
emerge as the winner negotiations over its peaceful nuclear program.
