Monday, 23 May 2022 (YJC)_ Before leaving for Oman, the President said: "There are political and trade relations between Iran and Oman. Therefore, this level of relations is not acceptable for either country and the decision of both countries to improve the level of political, economic and trade relations."
President Ayatollah Seyyed Ibrahim Raeisi this morning (Monday) before leaving Oman, congratulating and congratulating Colonel Sayyad Khodaii to his family and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, stated:

The President said that this trip will be done at the invitation of the Sultan of Oman, adding:
There are good relations between us and Oman as a friend, brother and neighbor. There are political and trade relations between Iran and Oman. Therefore, this level of relations is not acceptable for either country and the decision of both countries is to raise the level of political, economic and trade relations.
"Trade relations between the two countries can definitely be developed," Raeisi said.
In the field of transportation, energy, tourism and especially health tourism, we can define more relationships. During this trip, memorandums of understanding will be signed between the two countries with the cooperation of various administrative bodies, and the implementation will be followed up.
The President added:
This trip is very important in order to develop the neighborhood policy between us and the neighboring countries, and the bilateral relations and their development will be discussed in these talks, and the regional relations will be discussed.
Raeisi emphasized:
The central point in the region is that cooperation and dialogue between the countries of the region can be a security, and certainly the presence of foreign forces in this region is not a security at all and can be. Threaten the security of the region.
The President stated that there are common positions and points between us and Oman, which will definitely be discussed in these talks:
We hope that the government's policies for relations with friendly and neighboring countries will develop and will be a step towards good relations with neighbors and will continue.
