Expansion of Kabul-Abu Dhabi relations; The focus of a meeting between a senior Taliban official and the President of the UAEOn the sidelines of his visit to the UAE, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, the first deputy prime minister of the Taliban, met with the new president, Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

According to the Taliban Foreign Ministry, the new head of the UAE during the meeting, while appreciating the presence of Mullah Baradar to offer condolences on the death of the former president, said that Abu Dhabi wants to establish peace and prosperity in Afghanistan and expand bilateral relations.

During the meeting, Mullah Baradar expressed his condolences on the death of Khalifa bin Zayed and called for the expansion of bilateral relations between the UAE and Afghanistan.

He also called on UAE officials to provide visa facilitation for Afghan citizens traveling to Afghanistan for business and commerce.

The Taliban deputy prime minister also demanded the release of Afghan prisoners in the country and their extradition to Afghan authorities.

The senior Taliban official also told an Afghan businessman living in the UAE that the Afghan government would provide investment opportunities for these people and that their security would be ensured if they returned to Afghanistan.

According to the Taliban Foreign Ministry, UAE officials also pledged to provide facilities for Afghan workers and decide on the release of Afghan prisoners.

This is despite the fact that a large number of Afghan workers travel to work in the country every year, and Afghans face many problems due to the strict immigration law in this country.
