Sunday, 22 May 2022 (YJC)_ The interim Zionist regime used a Palestinian teenage girl as a human shield against a military vehicle during an attack on the city of Jenin.
The legal organization of the World Movement for the Defense of Children / Palestinian Branch said in a statement that the interim Israeli army used a Palestinian child as a human shield against a military vehicle during a May 13 attack on the city of Jenin.
The statement said that the Zionist militia used the "frightened covenant" of a 16-year-old Palestinian girl as a human shield for two hours during an exchange of fire with Palestinian militants.
According to the newspaper "Rai Al-Youm", the intimidator told the organization in his remarks:
At around 6 in the morning, my family and I woke up to the sound of loud explosions near our house, and when we realized that the Israeli military had surrounded our house to arrest my brother Mahmoud (20), they asked us to leave.
He added:
One of the soldiers asked us to enter the yard of a house in front of them and they quickly started inspecting my father and asked my mother and me to go to the street in front of that house. When we went to the street, there was a military jeep there and they asked me I stood in front of this military jeep that was under fire and they got into the car themselves.
The intruder also said:
The bullet passed over my head and one of the soldiers pulled his head out of the car window and told me in Arabic to stay still and not move. You are a terrorist, stay there to say goodbye to your brother Mahmoud, from the intensity of the bullets. They were shooting at me, they were very scared and I wanted to bend my head, but they were shouting, "Lift your head." Two hours later, I went to a nearby tree and sat on the ground, and one of the soldiers pulled his head out of the car window and asked me to go back in front of the car, but I did not listen.
Since the beginning of this year, 22 Palestinians have been killed and several others detained during the Israeli aggression in the city of Jenin and its camp.
