Tuesday, 17 May 2022 (YJC)_ An Iranian lawmaker has said that the foreign ministers of Iran and Saudi Arabia will meet in Baghdad.
A member of the National Security Commission at the Iranian Parliament, Javad Karimi Ghudusi, announced that the foreign ministers of Iran and Saudi Arabia will meet in Baghdad.
“Preliminary agreements have been achieved between Iran and Saudi Arabia,” he said while noting that in the near future, the Foreign Ministers of two sides will meet with the Saudi Foreign Minister.
Javad Karimi went on to say that “Bilateral issues, the reopening of embassies and the Yemeni crisis will be discussed during the meeting.”
Iran and Saudi Arabia held their fifth round of talks in Baghdad on April 23rd.
