Tuesday, 17 May 2022 (YJC)_ Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister announced the country's readiness for global cooperation amid energy, food security concerns.
During a meeting with the Slovak Deputy FM, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Ali Baqeri Kani underlined the country's readiness for global cooperation amid energy, food security concerns.
“We should try our outmost to turn countries’ concerns about "energy and food security" into an opportunity for global cooperation,” two sides emphasized during the meeting.
Ali Baqeri Kani wrote on his twitter account “In a meeting with the Slovak Deputy FM today, the two sides stressed that in order to fend off disruption of "international security", efforts should be made to turn countries’ concerns about "energy and food security" into an opportunity for global cooperation, Baqeri Kani wrote on his twitter page on Monday after a meeting with his visiting Slovakian counterpart Ingrid Brutková in Tehran.”
Two sides also note that “Right now energy and food security are a priority for many countries due to global conditions.”
