In an interview with a Russian media outlet, the Iranian ambassador to Russia stated that Tehran-Moscow relations cover all political, economic and military spheres.
According to media sources, Iran's ambassador to Russia, Kazem Jalali, told RIA Novosti that Iran's military cooperation with Russia is part of the two countries' relations.
The Iranian ambassador to Russia also stated in the interview that Moscow-Tehran relations cover all political, economic and other spheres.
In an interview with the Russian media, Kazem Jalali added:
Military and defense cooperation, which is also part of this relationship, is not limited to the purchase of relevant equipment.
The ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Russian Federation announced that "Iran is waiting for the visit of (Vladimir) Putin (Russian President) to Tehran."
In another part of the interview, he stated that Iran and Russia have reached good decisions in the field of production and development of oil and gas fields, and Iran has submitted a "roadmap for cooperation" in the field of oil and gas industry to Russia.
The remarks made by the Tehran ambassador to Moscow came amid reports of the imminent visit of Russian Deputy Prime Minister and head of the Iran-Russia Joint Economic Commission, Alexander Novak, to Tehran.
