Sunday, 15 May 2022 (YJC)_ The chief negotiator of the Islamic Republic of Iran said that other countries under sanctions are also seeking to obtain sanctions neutralization knowledge from Iran.
Ali Bagheri, the political deputy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, visited the International Oil, Gas and Petrochemical Exhibition this morning (Sunday) together with a number of general managers of the ministry.
On the sidelines of the visit, the Deputy Foreign Minister stated:
The strategic policy of neutralizing sanctions, along with the clever initiative to lift sanctions, has thwarted the enemy's trick in stopping the train of comprehensive development of the country.
Explaining the process of achieving the knowledge of neutralizing sanctions, Bagheri said:
The strong will and tremendous ability of the country's energy industry brokers and experts, the art of circumventing sanctions, once the industry's only tool in countering Bush's smart sanctions, to Obama's crippling sanctions technology and then the knowledge to thwart Trump's campaign of maximum pressure. And now other countries under sanctions are seeking to obtain knowledge of sanctions neutralization from Iran.
He described the ability to neutralize sanctions as a deterrent to oppressive sanctions.
The ability of scientists and artisans to defuse sanctions, in addition to greatly increasing the capacity of diplomacy to lift sanctions, significantly enhances the country's ability to deter oppressive sanctions.
Bagheri clarified:
Sustainability of lifting sanctions depends on maintaining and upgrading hard and soft capacities in neutralizing sanctions.
The political deputy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the senior negotiator of our country in the sanctions lifting negotiations, also said:
The Islamic Republic of Iran, as serious as it is in the process of negotiations and fulfillment of international obligations, including the issue of reaching an agreement on the lifting of sanctions, is also firm in its distrust of the enemy and its reliance on foreigners for immunity from sanctions. Revolutionary rationality requires that by distrusting the enemy and not relying on foreigners, he use all the capacities of the diplomatic arena to secure national interests.
Bagheri said in the end:
In addition to pursuing the maximum possible lifting of sanctions in the field of diplomacy, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, along with scientists and technologists from the country's energy sector, will use all international capacities to enhance the country's ability to neutralize sanctions.
