CBI Governor: Iran's Foreign Currency Revenues IncreasedGovernor of the Central Bank of Iran (CBI) Ali Salehabadi said that that Iran's foreign currency revenues have also increased and noted that the country's banking relations with neighbors and friendly states have improved.

“Due to a hike in global oil prices and a growth in the country’s crude production capacity we have witnessed an increase in Iran’s foreign currency revenues,” he noted while highlighting the fact that “The oil production capacity has returned back to the pre-sanctions levels.”

He went on to add that Iran’s banking relations with neighbors and friendly states have improved and added “we fortunately face no problem in providing foreign currency for basic goods.”
