Reacting to the martyrdom of Al Jazeera correspondent Shirin Abu Aqla in Palestine, Lebanese Minister of Culture Mohammed Wassam al-Murtada said that the more oppressive the Zionist regime, the closer and closer the destruction of the regime will be.
Along with this tweet, the Lebanese Minister of Culture has also issued a joint statement with "Mohammad Mehdi Ismail", the Minister of Culture and Guidance of the Islamic Republic of Iran, condemning the assassination of Abu Aqla. Part of this statement reads:
The assassination of Shirin Abu Aqela will not kill the right in "liberation", resistance is the effective tool against the occupier, and Quds will be victorious with resistance.
