According to the Politico website, the first step was taken to legalize the new $ 40 billion US aid to Ukraine, and the US House of Representatives voted in favor of the bill with 368 votes in favor and 57 against.
With the approval of the bill in the US House of Representatives, the bill has now been referred to the US Senate, which, after being approved by this House, will be referred to the White House in order to become law with the signature of the US President.
Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer promised in a statement that the bill would be passed "immediately" in the Senate and would be referred to the White House to become law.
