The Joint Security Committee of the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia on Monday (yesterday) in its sixth round of meetings in Abu Dhabi examined the strengthening of bilateral security cooperation.
The meeting also signed a draft security memorandum aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation in joint security projects, which aims to strengthen cooperation in the implementation of joint projects and plans to ensure the protection of data and information exchanged between the two sides.
According to the Al-Khaleej Online website, the meeting was chaired by UAE Deputy Interior Minister Khalifa Harb Al-Khaili and his Saudi counterpart Hisham Al-Faleh. Al-Khaili said at the meeting that the meeting reflects the fraternal relations between the UAE and Saudi Arabia and the sincere intention of the two sides to cooperate constructively based on common interests and to serve the two nations.
Al-Faleh also said that the meeting was a continuation of previous meetings and strengthens the brotherly relations between the two countries and the two nations and joint bilateral cooperation.
The Joint Security Committee of the UAE and Saudi Arabia was established in 2016 with the aim of strengthening and coordinating the security of the two countries.
