Tuesday, 10 May 2022 (YJC)_ Russia's ambassador to Armenia says the Nazi center was set up for anti-Russian purposes in central Europe and in the territories where Ukrainians live.
Russia's ambassador to Armenia, Sergei Kupirkin, said Monday evening that Central Europe had become a hotbed of Nazism.
In an interview on the occasion of Victory Day in Russia, Kupirkin said:
The Nazi Center was established for anti-Russian purposes in Central Europe, in the territories where the Ukrainian people live.
According to the RIA Novosti website, he explained:
Unfortunately, life has shown that they have not learned all the really terrible lessons that war has taught us. For selfish geopolitical interests, the Nazi center was re-established in central Europe. The sad paradox is that this center, formed purposefully for anti-Russian purposes, emerged in the territory of the Ukrainian people.
According to the Russian diplomat, vast resources, including the most advanced brainwashing technologies, have been devoted to this goal through revision, falsification and rewriting of the joint history of Russia and Ukraine.
Accordingly, Kupirkin said:
Ukraine has consistently formed an anti-Russian front by declaring a real war against anything Russian. The aggression and uncompromising nature of this line left Russia with no choice but to carry out a special military operation to protect Donbass and destroy the center of Nazism.
According to RIA Novosti, he continued:
This operation is not against the Ukrainian people, but against the ideology of Nazism and its followers. History repeats itself in a new and regular rotation. Once again, a multinational country, strong in its unity and solidarity, is fighting against Nazism. What is happening now clearly shows the importance of preserving the memory and truth about war and confronting war.
