Monday, 9 May 2022 (YJC)_ Major General Safavi said that the adoption of the ocean-based strategy plays a decisive role in the economic prospect of the region.
In his remarks during a visit to various parts of Shahid Rajaei port, a top military aide to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Major General Safavi said that the adoption of the ocean-based strategy plays a decisive role in the economic prospect of the region.
He referred to the sanctions imposed against Iran and noted “he Strait of Hormuz, and the Sea of Oman, adoption of the ocean-based strategy plays a decisive role in the economic prospect of the region and the country.”
General Safavi went on to say that positive effects on export, trade, and transit activities are the outcome of such strategy and added “2,238 kilometers of coastline and more than 71 large and small ports play a very important role in the development of Iran’s the national economy.”
