Sunday, 8 May 2022 (YJC)_ The former deputy defense minister of Afghanistan said that despite the sharp differences on the Panjshir front, the leaders of this front aim to engage in political interaction to preserve their capital, calling the resistance a family business.
"The Resistance Front has only three offices in Tajikistan, but their lack of unity is such that they do not even talk to each other," said Tamim Asi, a former deputy director of policy and strategy at the Afghan Ministry of Defense.
Referring to Ahmad Massoud's visits to Tajikistan, he said:
The leader of that front during his stay in Tajikistan lives under house arrest and under the supervision of the KGB, and in the last 8 months has not made any or the least political and military achievements on the battlefield.
Asi added:
The ultimate goal of the Front's leaders is political interaction, preserving their capital and position, and the Haqqani are well aware of this, as the Front's representatives are currently practically negotiating in Pakistan.

If your goal is not overthrowing, it is just a deal, then why kill people's children without political, financial and logistical obstacles?
He continued:
The public policy of the countries in the region is that they do not support war and military operations in Afghanistan. The West has no appetite for military support for any group.
Asi added:
You also do not have a coherent political and military program, structure and management. So far, the resistance is a family business; There is no Massoud Thani.
