A two-month temporary ceasefire has been in place in Yemen since April 4, but the Saudi coalition has violated it about 6,000 times so far.
In an interview with Al-Ahd, Ali al-Qahoum, a member of Ansarullah's political bureau, warned that Yemeni forces would not sit idly by in the face of this ceasefire violation.
He added:
The Yemeni Armed Forces have a lot to say in response to the Saudi aggression; The strategic weapon produced by the Yemeni forces can be used in response to aggression and ceasefire violations.
القحوم clarified:
The Saudi coalition did not adhere to the ceasefire from the beginning, the ceasefire was based on the humanitarian situation and the issue of prisoners, but Saudi Arabia is trying to stone and thwart all efforts to maintain the ceasefire.
Emphasizing that Sanaa has been committed to the terms of the ceasefire from the beginning and has never violated it, he added:
It is Saudi Arabia that is trying to defeat the ceasefire, so it is the responsibility of this country to violate the ceasefire, and our patience will not last long.
