Saturday, 7 May 2022 (YJC)_ The Iranian Health Ministry announced that 270 new Covid-19 cases has been detected in the country in the past 24 hrs.¬
The Iranian Health Ministry announced on Saturday that 270 new COVID-19 infections have been detected across the country in the past 24 hours 63 of which has been hospitalized.
“A sum of 270 COVID-19 infections and 18 deaths has been identified due to the disease in the past 24 hours” the spox said while adding that “This brings the total number of cases 7,224,701.”
8 COVID patients have lost their lives in the past 24 hours that bring the total death toll 141,165,” the ministry added.
“916 people are being treated in ICUs in hospitals across the country, while 7,002,258 have already gained recovery,” the health ministry added.
51,446,960 coronavirus diagnosis tests have so far been carried out across the country,” the ministry added and also warned that 4 cities are rated orange, 319 cities are yellow, and 125 cities are blue.
