Thursday, 5 May 2022 (YJC)_ The Iranian Health Ministry announced that 228 new Covid-19 cases has been detected in the country in the past 24 hrs.
The Iranian Health Ministry announced on Thursday that 228 new COVID-19 infections have been detected across the country in the past 24 hours 68 of which has been hospitalized.
“A sum of 228 COVID-19 infections and 18 deaths has been identified due to the disease in the past 24 hours” the spox said while adding that “This brings the total number of cases 7,224,056.”
7 COVID patients have lost their lives in the past 24 hours that bring the total death toll 141,145,” the ministry added.
“7 patients have lost their lives in the past 24 hours, increasing the number of the dead to 141,145," the ministry noted.
“991 people are being treated in ICUs in hospitals across the country, while 6,997,050 have already gained recovery,” the health ministry added.
51,354,208 coronavirus diagnosis tests have so far been carried out across the country,” the ministry added and also warned that 33 cities are rated orange, 321 cities are yellow, and 94 cities are blue.
