Thursday, 5 May 2022 (YJC)_ Hamas warned that the move could lead to widespread clashes in occupied Palestine after several groups of Zionist settlers entered the Al-Aqsa Mosque under the auspices of Israeli forces.

Hamas warns Tel Aviv of possible conflictThe Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) reacted this afternoon (Thursday) to the illegal entry of Zionist settlers into Al-Aqsa Mosque.

According to a statement posted on Hamas' official website, the movement warned:
The arrival of several groups of Zionist settlers at the Al-Aqsa Sharif Mosque under the auspices of the occupying forces today (Thursday) is a dangerous tension [action] and a direct provocation [of Muslims] that could lead to a full-blown explosion that the occupying [regime] cabinet completely Will be responsible for the consequences.

The following is the statement:
Attempts to divide time and space [Al-Aqsa Mosque], to impose the policy of artificial reality of occupation in Al-Aqsa Mosque in the hands of the guards, the children of our heroic nation who defend the first qibla of Muslims on behalf of the Arab and Islamic ummah.

The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement also called on the Islamic and Arab ummah to support the stability of the Palestinian people and their just cause until the end of the Zionist occupation regime.

In the end, Hamas described the survival of the Zionist regime as a stigma on the forehead of the international community, which has a double standard in dealing with the Palestinian issue and the legitimate rights of its people, including the liberation of the land and the right to self-determination.

Palestinian media reported today that about 600 Zionist settlers had entered Al-Aqsa Mosque to commemorate the anniversary of the occupation of Palestine.
