Thursday, 5 May 2022 (YJC)_ A Kremlin spokesman said US actions could not prevent Russia from achieving its goals in Ukraine.
The Kremlin said Thursday that it is well aware that the United States, Britain and other NATO countries are constantly providing information to the Ukrainian military, and that this will not stop Russia from achieving its goals.
According to Sputnik, Peskov explained:
Retsch is well aware that the United States, Britain, and NATO in general are transferring information and other parameters to the Ukrainian armed forces.
He added
These are well known, and together with the flow of weapons that these countries and the Alliance (NATO) are sending to Ukraine, these are all actions that, assuming, do not help to complete the operation quickly, but at the same time are able to prevent the achievement of the set goals. Not in special military operations (Russia in Ukraine).
According to Reuters, a Kremlin spokesman made the remarks in response to the New York Times report that the United States had provided information that helped Ukrainian forces kill Russian generals.
The American newspaper reported:
Washington has provided Ukraine with details of the expected relocation of Russian troops and their location and other details of its mobile military bases, and Kiev has used the information to assist in carrying out artillery attacks and other attacks that have killed Russian officers.
