Monday, 2 May 2022 (YJC)_ The Iranian Health Ministry announced that 697 new Covid-19 cases has been detected in the country in the past 24 hrs.
The Iranian Health Ministry announced on Monday that 697 new COVID-19 infections have been detected across the country in the past 24 hours 128 of which has been hospitalized.
“A sum of 697 COVID-19 infections and 18 deaths has been identified due to the disease in the past 24 hours” the spox said while adding that “This brings the total number of cases 7,223,005.”
18 COVID patients have lost their lives in the past 24 hours that bring the total death toll 141,114,” the ministry added.
“1,038 people are being treated in ICUs in hospitals across the country, while 6,989,358 have already gained recovery,” the health ministry added.
51,215,314 coronavirus diagnosis tests have so far been carried out across the country,” the ministry added while announcing “33 cities are rated orange, 321 cities are yellow, and 94 cities are blue.”
