Saturday, 30 April 2022 (YJC)_ The President of Ukraine called on foreign countries to send troops to Ukraine as soon as possible to help the country confront Russia.
In an interview with Dutch media published on his Telegram channel yesterday (Friday), Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called for the deployment of foreign troops to Ukraine as soon as possible to fight Russia.
"Asked about foreign actions to help NATO against Russia, Zelenskyy told Dutch reporters," the Russian news agency Tass reported.
I definitely know that we need security guarantees and I know exactly what we need and I want to ask for exactly what we need .... The most important thing is the people and the deadlines and the deadlines and the people. I think for us, security guarantees should be in the "people-hours" formula.
He went on to stress that analogues of such systems "should be deployed in specific parts of Europe" and compared the agreements with the 911 emergency telephone, which provides emergency services.
Zelenskyy said in this regard:
We need exactly the "people-hours" security guarantee, and so the name that works for it is "United-24". Depending on the threat, we get a state. It is like calling 911 and it is like an ambulance for us.
Zelenskyy went on to say that his request for force is not in conflict with NATO's policies and does not upset its balance, and is in fact a parallel path that is not comparable to the NATO alliance.
Earlier, Zelenskyy had said that the fact that Ukraine would not be a member of NATO and that Kiev needed new formats of engagement with Western countries and separate security guarantees had to be accepted, and then the Ukrainian presidency announced that it expected a coalition from They have five to seven countries that are legally obliged to provide security for Ukraine.
