Saturday, 30 April 2022 (YJC)_ The al-Nujaba Islamic Resistance Movement declared that it would oppose the reconciliation project in the same manner as it stood against the occupiers. The secretary-general of this movement also announced the determination of the Islamic Resistance to make the Zionists tremble.
According to the website of the representative office of al-Nujaba in Iran, in a statement on the occasion of International al-Quds Day, the al-Nujaba Islamic Resistance Movement emphasized that the Occupied Territories historically belong to the Palestinian people and its unchangeable Islamic identity.
The statement also accused the compromising regimes of weakness and betrayal of the Islamic ummah, “International organizations and the United Nations, along with the Zionists, have come under the pressure of the arrogant powers and have stood by the oppressors.”
The al-Nujaba Movement also pointed out that “conceding is not an option” and noted, “We declare with all our hearts that the rights taken away by force can be taken back.”
The al-Nujaba Islamic Resistance Movement also announced that the movement will continue to work and coordinate with other Islamic Resistance groups in the region and is fully prepared to confront the Zionist regime.
The statement referred to Israel’s fear and concern over the arrival of the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan and added, “The greatness of Imam Khomeini (May God be pleased with him) has ignited the sentiments of the ummah and the light of the spirit of Islam on al-Quds Day.”
al-Nujaba stressed its opposition to the project to normalize relations with the Zionist entity and warned the cowardly countries in the region that they are trying to prolong the survival of the usurping regime by aggravating the internal situation in Iraq, saying, “Just as we were able to fight the occupiers, we also have the power to confront those who seek compromise because they are weaker than the occupiers.”
Also, in a tweet, Shaykh Akram al-Kaabi, the secretary-general of the al-Nujaba Movement, described International al-Quds Day as “a beloved day for all the free people of the world” and wrote, “The late Imam, the mujahid [warrior] Khomeini, chose this occasion to be institutionalized in the minds of warriors and fighters in the west and east of the earth.”
Shaykh al-Kaabi considered the occupied city of al-Quds as the foremost issue of the free people of the world and continued, “Their main goal is to liberate al-Quds from the clutches of the blindhearted Zionist occupiers, who are led by the arrogant powers of the world, namely the United States and the United Kingdom.”
He added, “al-Quds Day will be like a thorn in the eyes of the occupiers as long as the blood is in our veins. In the future, we will make the Zionists tremble until the great divine victory is realized and the holy city of al-Quds is liberated.”
In conclusion, the secretary-general of the al-Nujaba Movement stated, “Just as Sayyid Hasan Nasrallah (may God protect him) said, ‘the Islamic Resistance of Iraq is at the highest level of preparedness to participate in the liberation of al-Quds.’”
