Friday, 29 April 2022 (YJC)_ A senior member of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, while emphasizing the continued struggle of the Palestinian people against the Zionists, noted that the resistance is on the path to victory.
In an exclusive interview with Press TV on the occasion of World Al-Quds Day, Khalid al-Battash, a senior member of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, called the Al-Quds Coalition and the Axis of Resistance the first step to victory over the Zionist project.

The attack on Muslim and Christian worshipers in Jerusalem is not only a prelude to an uprising, but also a prelude to a major regional war if Zionist attacks continue in Jerusalem.
He continued:
The Palestinian people will continue their struggle in Gaza and the West Bank and throughout occupied Palestine amid Israel's dangerous efforts to Judaize Jerusalem and deprive it of its Islamic identity.
Al-Battash pointed out:
On the International Day of Quds, we send our greetings to the late Imam, who named the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan every year as the International Day of Quds.
A senior member of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement said:
On this day, Muslims around the world are reminded that they must do their duty to defend Quds against the Zionist enemy and also to liberate it.
He added in this conversation:
All Muslims and Arabs must unite against this Zionist project and thwart all American and Zionist conspiracies against Al-Quds.
Al-Batash pointed out in the end:
We believe that we are on the path to victory, and this feeling has been especially strengthened by the "Battle of the Sword of Quds" that took place in Gaza last year. We believe that the existence of the Al-Quds Coalition and the Axis of Resistance is the first step towards achieving a great victory against this Zionist project.
