Thursday, 28 April 2022 (YJC)_ Iranian Defense Minister said increased tensions in the world are the manifestations of hegemonic policies of west.
In a meeting with his Chinese counterpart Wei Fenghe in Tehran, Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Ashtiani said increased tensions in the world are the manifestations of hegemonic policies of west.
“Hegemonic policies pursued by the western states, especially the US leads to the current crisis and tensions in the world,” he noted while adding that “A wave of insecurity, instability, war, destruction, and displacement, are the results of the military presence of the US in any part of the world.”
He went on to express concern over the escalation of security crises in the world and noted that to counter US hegemony in the world multilateralism should be strengthen.
“Policy of Iran is to form indigenous and endogenous security in the Persian Gulf region is the strategic,” he said and went on to appreciate the constructive role of General Ghassem Soleimani as Iran shows outstanding services in the fight against terrorism.
