Thursday, 28 April 2022 (YJC)_ Hezbollah's deputy, while emphasizing the resistance of the resistance to defend Palestine, called the announcement of Al-Quds Day a great turning point in the world's journey.
Sheikh Naeem Qasim, Deputy Secretary General of Hezbollah in Lebanon, said in a political meeting on the occasion of World Quds Day entitled "Palestine; the unification of fields and equations of power and victory":
Imam Khomeini created a great turning point in the path of the world and the International Day of Quds was declared so that Quds would be the starting point and the path of the free.
According to Al-Ahd, he added that normalizing relations with the Zionist enemy on the horizon is a great betrayal and rejecting or confronting it is humiliation and giving in to Israel's demands.
Sheikh Qasim clarified:
We all note that, regardless of global developments, we are fully prepared to defend Palestine, to be with Palestine means to be with our own countries, and when the compass is Palestine, it means that we are credited.
He continued:
In the offices of the Palestinians, there is nothing but resistance, and in their minds and hearts, there is nothing but the liberation of Jerusalem. This nation cannot be defeated. The Palestinian cause demands that the various fields for the liberation of Palestine be cohesive.
Sheikh Qasim emphasized:
With its support, Iran has proven how it has been able to move the confrontation, reverse the equation, and increase Palestine's share. The power of resistance is the only path to complete liberation, and all possibilities must be at the service of this power.
He added:
All the nations of the region, and in the preamble to it, the Palestinian Mujahideen, believe that liberation will take place, and that the spark of World Quds Day is a seed of hope. Palestine is not a piece of land, but a global humanitarian issue, and this is what Imam Khomeini did by announcing Quds Day; He appointed Quds Day so that Quds would flow in the hearts and minds of all along this planet.
