Wednesday, 27 April 2022 (YJC)_ Iranian Minister of Road and Urban Development said Tehran and Moscow need to expand bilateral relations in the transportation sector.
In a meeting in Moscow, Iranian Minister of Road and Urban Development Rostam Qassemi and senior Russian officials underlined the importance of expansions of bilateral relations in the transportation sector between the two countries.
The Iranian delegation is in Moscow and Qassemi is the head of the group, they are there to meet Russian counterparts in a bid to reach agreements on transport and transit of goods.
Activation of International North-South Transport Corridor (INSTC) and development of maritime, air, and rail cooperation are among the issues included in the transport and transit agreements.
Other data-x-items can be named as increasing the number of flights, activation of the two countries' ports, agreement for operation of the rail corridor from Chabahar Port to Russia and electrification of Incheborun-Garmsar Railway.
