Tajikistan-Uzbekistan agree to develop bilateral tradeTajik Minister of Industry and New Technologies Shir Ali Kabir and Deputy Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan Sardar Omarzakov met in Tashkent.

During the meeting, the current state of bilateral cooperation in the fields of investment, industry, trade and transportation was examined.

The two sides reviewed priority areas for the development of investment cooperation and agreed to intensify joint efforts to implement industrial cooperation projects and improve conditions for the development of reciprocal trade by continuously abolishing existing tariffs and non-tariffs and facilitating access to products in domestic markets. .

During the meeting, joint efforts of the two countries to upgrade ongoing projects as well as new directions for expanding mutually beneficial economic partnership were developed.
