Saturday, 23 April 2022 (YJC)_ Iran’s Permanent Ambassador urged UN to take immediate action to stop the aggression of the Zionist regime.
In his remarks during the meeting of the Permanent Representatives Committee of OIC Member States, Iran’s Permanent Ambassador, Majid Takht-Ravanchic alled on United Nations to take immediate action to stop the aggression of the Zionist regime in Palestine.
The meeting was held in the presence of António Guterres Secretary-General of the United Nations, issues related to the Islamic world, including recent developments in the Occupied Palestinian Territories, and Islamophobia in some European countries were among the issues discussed in the session.
Majid Takht-Ravanchi called on United Nations to take immediate action to stop the aggression of the Zionist regime in Al-Aqsa Mosque which backed by the ambassador and representatives of others Islamic countries.
For his part, the representative of Afghanistan also called on Islamic countries to express their condemnation over recent terrorist attacks in Afghanistan.
Finally, António Guterres also said that the issue of Palestine and Islamophobia are important international issues.
