In a telephone conversation with Jordanian King Abdullah II, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced the bilateral agreement between Amman and Ankara to co-operate and contribute to peace in the region.
According to Yenisefaq, in his consultation with the King of Jordan, the President of Turkey strongly criticized and regretted the Zionist regime's intervention in Palestine during the holy month of Ramadan.
Referring to the phone call, Erdogan wrote on his Twitter account:
The two sides agreed to take steps for peace and stability in the region.
He also wished Abdullah II, who had recently undergone lumbar surgery in Germany, a speedy recovery.
