Hussein Ibrahim Taha, secretary general of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, spoke with Riyad al-Maliki, the Palestinian Authority's foreign minister, about Zionist aggression against al-Aqsa Mosque.
According to the Al-Yawm Al-Sabeeh website, in this telephone call, the Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation emphasized the organization's stand with the Palestinian people and the protection of its legitimate rights in the city of East Jerusalem and Palestinian sovereignty over this city as the capital of the Palestinian state. He said Israel's actions were a clear violation of international law and UN resolutions.
The Palestinian Foreign Minister also briefed the Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation on the dangers of the situation in Palestine as a result of the intensification of the daily aggression of Zionist settlers against Al-Aqsa Mosque and Palestinian worshipers, as well as the Zionist regime's efforts to divide the Holy Mosque.
The Zionist aggression against Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Palestinians intensified during the holy month of Ramadan, and yesterday Al-Aqsa Mosque was the scene of an attack by Zionist militants.
In recent days, the Palestinian resistance has warned the occupiers of any escalation of tensions in Jerusalem, and even Harun Nasser al-Din, a member of Hamas' political bureau and an official of the Jerusalem bureau, regarding the rape or permission of Al-Aqsa Mosque. Giving the settlers to sacrifice inside the scenes, he told the Zionist regime:
Hamas has informed the mediators that any casualties in Al-Aqsa Mosque are a declaration of war, and that the [Operation] Sword of Quds-2 is much more severe than the previous [Sword of Quds].
