Saturday, 16 April 2022 (YJC)_ The Iranian Health Ministry announced that 1,015 new Covid-19 cases has been detected in the country in the past 24 hrs.
The Iranian Health Ministry announced on Wednesday that 1,015 new COVID-19 infections have been detected across the country in the past 24 hours 195 of which has been hospitalized.
“A sum of 1,015 COVID-19 infections and 33 deaths has been identified due to the disease in the past 24 hours” the spox said while adding that “This brings the total number of cases 7,205,064.”
23 COVID patients have lost their lives in the past 24 hours that bring the total death toll 140,800,” the ministry added.
“1,420 people are being treated in ICUs in hospitals across the country, while 6,942,220 have already gained recovery,” the health ministry added.
50,370,520 coronavirus diagnosis tests have so far been carried out across the country,” the ministry added while announcing “55 cities are rated red, 84 cities are orange, 274 cities are yellow, and 35 cities are blue.”
