According to the website of the representative office of al-Nujaba in Iran, Shaykh Ali al-Asadi, the head of the Political Council of the al-Nujaba Islamic Resistance Movement, made an announcement regarding the recent developments in Iraq, “The fact is that the British-American coalition, to advance its destructive projects, has created the conditions for the internal situation in Iraq to deteriorate.”
Shaykh al-Asadi continued to explain these subversive acts, “The enemy sometimes uses its tools to desecrate the shrines and sometimes incites deviant movements to promote seditious plans.”
He referred to the adverse effects of foreign intervention in Iraq’s economic affairs, which has put the lower classes at a disadvantage, adding, “The purpose of all this is to realize projects such as the oil pipeline from Basrah to the port of Aqabah; A plan that is on the agenda of the interim government and the result is theft from the table of the oppressed nation.”
In conclusion, the head of the Political Council of al-Nujaba warned that “the men of the Resistance are sitting in ambush and will not be caught in a whirlpool of deviation” and added, “We will not allow anyone to ignore the rights of the homeless and bring the looting projects to the stage of approval and implementation.”
