Tuesday, 12 April 2022 (YJC)_ The Iranian Health Ministry spox announced that 2,737 new Covid-19 cases has been detected in the country in the past 24 hrs.
The Iranian Health Ministry spokesperson announced on Tuesday that 2,737 new COVID-19 infections have been detected across the country in the past 24 hours 378 of which has been hospitalized.
“A sum of 2,737 COVID-19 infections and 39 deaths has been identified due to the disease in the past 24 hours” the spox said while adding that “This brings the total number of cases 7,197,505.”
28 COVID patients have lost their lives in the past 24 hours that bring the total death toll 140,678,” the ministry added.
“1,411 people are being treated in ICUs in hospitals across the country, while 6,927,042 have already gained recovery,” the health ministry added.
50,137,256 coronavirus diagnosis tests have so far been carried out across the country,” the ministry added while announcing “34 cities are rated red, 69 cities are orange, 291 cities are yellow, and 54 cities are blue.”
